The consumption of petroleum for the production of plastic is expected to decrease by 15\u201320% by 2025. By 2025, Asia and Europe will have the largest share of bioplastics market. Asia will account for 32% while Europe at 31% of the total market followed by the United States at 28%<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Biodegradable plastics allow enhanced end-of-life scenarios for disposal and <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>recycling<\/strong><\/span>. This may lessen the burden on our existing waste systems and also the <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>environment<\/strong><\/span>.
