PEF is a <strong>biopolyester<\/strong> that could, in the future, replace <strong>PET<\/strong> in a wide range of applications. PEF is a fully <strong>recyclable<\/strong> and <strong>renewable<\/strong> high-performance plastic. Therefore, it opens up possibilities for the industries to reduce <strong>waste<\/strong> and to have positive impact on the <strong>environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">According to VTT Technical Research Centre, the <strong>carbon footprint<\/strong> of <strong>plastic bottles<\/strong> made with PEF is 50% smaller than when using PET.
