{"id":7862,"date":"2022-07-05T06:23:40","date_gmt":"2022-07-05T06:23:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/behzistdanesh.com\/?p=7862"},"modified":"2022-07-05T06:23:40","modified_gmt":"2022-07-05T06:23:40","slug":"development-of-fibre-based-bottle-cap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/behzistdanesh.com\/en\/development-of-fibre-based-bottle-cap\/","title":{"rendered":"A Partnership between Absolut Company and Blue Ocean Closures for Development of Fibre-Based Bottle Cap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">News- The Absolut Company is working with Blue Ocean Closures (BOC), a start-up based in Sweden, to develop an innovative<strong> natural fibre<\/strong>-based closure <strong>cap<\/strong> for Absolut Vodka\u2019s iconic bottle<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Made from <strong>bio-based materials<\/strong>, the cap\u2019s pioneering design reduces the amount of <strong>plastic<\/strong> used in packaging by combining a body made of sustainably sourced <strong>FSC fibre<\/strong> material, making it <strong>recyclable<\/strong> and <strong>biodegradable<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Together, BOC and The Absolut Company will develop the cap for use on current glass bottles, as a possibility for future <strong>packaging innovations<\/strong>. The partnership will see several iterations of the cap through prototyping and testing stages in 2022, with plans to share it commercially in 2023<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This is part of a wider ambition from The Absolut Company to create a <strong>fully circular business<\/strong>, working with suppliers and partners to ensure that 100% of its packaging is <strong>reusable<\/strong>,
