The <strong>bio-based<\/strong> product could be lighter and promise interesting material properties such as superior<strong> impact strength<\/strong>. This results from the low splintering tendency and high <strong>elasticity<\/strong> of many <strong>plant fibers<\/strong>, which means high stability of the battery housing in the event of an accident<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The researchers initially used <strong>polypropylene<\/strong> as a carrier material for the flax fibers.
