Two Finnish companies collaborate on sustainable packaging for cosmetic products
News- After four years of scientific research and development, consumers will be able to experience their favourite moisturizers packaged in an innovative jar made of compostable material that does not harm the environment
Two Finnish companies Lumene (cosmetics manufacturer) and Sulapac (material innovation start-up) have collaborated on a pilot project to package two of Lumene’s most popular skincare (Nordic-C and Nordic Hydra moisturizers) products
The biobased jars made by Sulapac is the choice of the conscious consumers. It is made out of upcycled Nordic FSC®-certified (FSC® C158142) wood chips from industrial side streams, biobased and biodegradable biopolymers, and naturally occurring clay minerals
